Robert Poe, CCIM, MBA, CFP Joins Lackman Commercial Group Brings Commercial Real Estate Repurposing and Green Design Focus

Robert Poe, a veteran real estate broker, has joined Lackman Commercial Group. Poe brings 25 years of real estate investment advisory experience for commercial investments.
Poe began his career as a portfolio manager in central California. He was responsible for agricultural properties, oil leases, storage warehouses and various real estate development projects. Among his development successes in California were a 24-unit apartment building in the Central Valley that was completely remodeled and resold. He also managed the $ 2.1 million remodel of a 30,000 square foot medical building in the Orange County area. Poes investment partnership was a lead investor in a $ 5 million shopping center buildout in the Corona, California area. Robert also negotiated the $ 3.5 million sale of 3,000 acres of prime farm land in the Central Valley of California.
In 1996, Poe moved to the Portland, Oregon metro area. His first Oregon project was the massive remodeling and restructuring of a 1927 seventeen unit apartment building just outside the metro area. He also worked to transition a key client into a series of mini storage investments. Later projects included the acquisition of an 18-unit multi-family facility and a 46- unit multi-family venture.
Poe has studied passive building requirements in Sweden and is a Trade Ally with the Energy Trust of Oregon, a non-profit group that is dedicated to encouraging green building and energy efficiency in building design. His hands on experience in green technology include wind power site selection, and retro fitting buildings for energy efficiency.
Lackman Commercial Group is the largest commercial team within the newly formed KW Commercial division of Keller Williams Realty. Lackman team members have experience in accounting, banking, architecture, construction, zoning, law and other disciplines critical to commercial real estate success.
