The much anticipated winter season of the Cleveland Plays co-ed, recreational dodgeball league got underway yesterday, and was not nearly as pathetic as youre thinking.

Not everybody makes a great first impression. Just look at The Matches. Their 2004 debut full-length E. Von Dahl Killed The Locals was a decently quirky, if ultimately unspectacular batch of hooky pop-punk. But with their second album, these Oakland boys have really come out of their shell.
